Our process

How Christmas Light Installation Works

From your first photo to the January takedown, here is exactly what happens when you work with us on Christmas lights in Trussville and the nearby communities.

Seven steps

Your season with us, step by step

  1. 1

Request an estimate and send a photo

Fill out the estimate request and include a photo of the front of your home or business. A recent photo you take on your phone is best. Pictures found online are often outdated, and we need to see what the property looks like right now.

That matters most when you want greenery lit. Bushes, shrubs and trees grow and change, so a current photo lets us plan around how they actually look this year.

  2. 2

We text to confirm your preferences

Most of our conversation happens by text, which makes it easy to answer on your own schedule. We go over what you want lit and whether you want extras like wreaths, garland, bows, tree wraps or bush and shrub wraps. If we need more information, we give you a call.

If you only want lights, we do only lights. If there is something we cannot do, we tell you right away.

  3. 3

We create a mockup design from your photo

Using the photo you sent, we put together a mockup that shows where the lights will go. You get to see the plan before anyone climbs a ladder, and we can adjust it until it feels right.

    Our crew installs your lights

Installations run from the second week of October through December. Our crew hangs the commercial grade lights we supply, works safely on the roof with the proper equipment, and checks everything before leaving.

Because the lights are leased from us, there is nothing for you to buy, and we do not install lights that customers supply. C9 warm white is our standard lighting color, and other colors are available upon request.

In season service with our 24 hour guarantee

If a light goes out during the season, call, text or email us. We guarantee the team will be out to fix it within 24 hours. That is our 24 hour guarantee, and it is part of the service rather than an extra.

The lights also carry a lifetime warranty, so repairs are on us.

    Takedown and storage

Takedowns usually happen in the first or second week of January. If you would like the lights to stay up a bit longer, just let us know and we will accommodate it.

Once the lights come down, we store them until next season. Nothing ends up in your attic or garage.

Next year, the same price for the same design

The lease is what keeps your price the same each year you remain a customer. Keep the same design, and you pay the same amount. If you add something new in a later year, such as trees, the price goes up. If you remove something, such as wreaths or shrubs, the price goes down.
